Look who just woke up- is that PETER GADIOT? No, I must have been mistaken, that’s CYRUS from ONCE UPON A TIME IN WONDERLAND. I heard they are 200+ and stuck here just like everyone else. Even in the 20’s, he still gives off a/an BELIVING IN LOVE ABOVE ALL ELSE, ANYTHING FOR FAMILY, FINDING MAGIC IN EVERYTHING, LIVING A PUNISHMENT THAT DIDN'T FIT THE CRIME, WARM TEA impression. In Sydney they work as a CARPENTER. They’re known to be quite PATIENT & KIND but have a tendency to be PARANOID & IMPULSIVE on their bad days.

Personality description : Looks like a cinnamon roll, definitely can kill you. Cyrus will always try to be kind and do the right thing, if only because he once did the wrong thing and it ended up with him and his brother's being cursed and a lot of other chaos. After over 200 years cursed to be a genie, the reckless man he once was is a memory, and he is much more level-headed and calm. However with people having chased after his bottle for so long he can also be paranoid.

Memories of their real life : 

Once upon a time Cyrus was just a normal man. He lived with his mother and brothers in Agrabah. They were hardly rich, but they were happy. However he had a habit of gambling, and cheating when doing so. It all came to a head one night when the person he was playing caught on to what he was doing. Cyrus thought he had got away with it, but as he and his brothers headed home, they saw their home on fire, their mother still inside.

As their mother lay dying, Cyrus decided to do whatever he could to save her. He'd heard about the well of wonders and convinced his brothers to join him getting the water they'd need. The guardian of the well warned him they'd be consequences, but it seemed worth it when their mother survived. However they soon realise the consequences when all three of them were turned into genies.

Decades passed, and he his bottle was passed from person to person, with him having to make their wishes come true. Eventually he became aware that he was being followed by Jafar, a ruthless man, and why he was after the bottle he didn't know. It was during an encounter between him and his current master that his bottle was sent far away, to Wonderland.

For a long time his bottle lay there, until Alice found it. She became his new master, but they travelled together as friends for a while as she tried to decide what to make her wishes be. Friendship turned to love, and eventually he proposed. But it was shortlived as the Red Queen arrived, using magic to push Cyrus off the edge of the cliff, and seemingly to his death... only it wasn't. Instead he landed on Jafar's magic rug and taken prisoner. They were not taken by the Dark Curse, Jafar had come too far and searched for too long, and so used a protection spell.

Jafar's plan couldn't be put into action as Alice hadn't made her wishes. He and the Red Queen put a scheme into motion to bring her back to Wonderland and to force her into making them. When Cyrus realised she was back in Wonderland, he tries to get a message to her to leave, instead hearing back she is coming for him. Eventually he manages to escape Jafar's palace, and is instantly caught by the Red Queen. She has his bottle and he is forced to come with her. However she agrees to go to Alice, wanting to leave Wonderland. Finally he is able to reunite with Alice. However Jafar attacks, eventually causing him to be freed from his genie curse, and Will to take it on.

When they are able to get Will back, he learns of the other two genie bottles Jafar has, and realises they are his brothers. Whilst Jafar is able to capture the Red Queen and Will, they learn that he still needs Will's heart, which is in Storybrooke. The White Rabbit takes them there, where they find it. However they are attacked by Jafar when they return, although he gets Will's heart, they get his staff, and Cyrus realises that it is his mother.

They plan to steal the bottles back from Jafar, and Cyrus and the now human again Amara go to his palace. Realising the trick, Jafar attacks Cyrus, and Amara has to do his bidding to save his life. At the Well of Wonders, before they can return the water Cyrus had stolen all those years before, Jafar murders Amara. As it is now he who has taken the water, the guardian places a genie curse on him, releasing Will and Cyrus's brothers. He was finally able to reunite with them, and they all went to Alice's original realm where finally they married, eventually going on to have a daughter.
